in the laboratory of my luxuria
I measure the looping arabesque
pulsing stamen and moistened pistil within
the granny knot of relentless reproduction
I must dawdle over my research;
not skirt all the allegories and illusionary data
clutching at those simmering passions; last
flowering; velvet dawn

mlmm wordle 171 deftly produced by Pat: pistil [the female reproductive part of a flower. The pistil, centrally located, typically consists of a swollen base, the ovary, which contains the potential seeds, or ovules; a stalk, or style, arising from the ovary; and a pollen-receptive tip, the stigma, variously shaped and often sticky.]; stamen [a stamen is a male reproductive organ of a flower. It produces the pollen. The stamen has two parts: the anther, and the stalk. The stalk is also called the filament.]; arabesque; skirt; socket; measure; loop; simmer; granny knot [The granny knot is a binding knot, used to secure a rope or line around an object.]; clutch; reverse; dawdle.

{Sure you have wordled well into the future, Pat, but these words kept popping into my head, yet I could not form, as yet, a cocoon, a hammock, a resting spot for them as they race, bounce, rattle off the osteoporosised walls of skull:
monkey wrench; dust bunny; jejune; rowboat; goose-neck lamp; dementia; angst; vexatious; pernicious; mollycoddle; milk bottle; vermillion lipstick – why, I have no idea. I went to a creative energy workshop this afternoon and my mind has been spinning since.}

Right – so I’ve set up your wordle words for Monday, September 18th. Done and dusted – but not bunnied yet. When the post goes live, you can wander about and since you still have access to the board etc., feel free to jump in and do the pingbacks etc. although, of course, I will be checking in on it etc. I’ve just listed you as a guest post – save you the time in case you’re not quite up to speed. ;)

Thanks. I do have some wonderiforous words marked away some where. When I unpack that trunk in my mind, I’ll let you know. Now, to think of a response to those wordle words! Grinning and perplexed.

Righteo – great wordle-ling – really liked what you did with the flow and story – and well, hibiscus are totally cool – so gorgeous and showy and yet so silky smooth. Very sexual those flowers are. And you did a great job of creating a scene in my head – LOL – I could picture you in a white lab coat measuring and checking and recording data, with a smirk and dreamy eyed smile on your face – the juxtaposition of the two ideas running in my head – as you’ve painted it here :D
great job, so thanks for wordle play this week :)
okay – great wordle words here – so I’ll copy them and make a list …. funny, some of these words are already in a whole whack of wordles (crap, say that 10x) I’ve just made up :D
