a chimera, wet whisper
no more than a mirror
after the rain, waiting
for bus for thunder
a hand touch away from
reflection, from liquid
to solid from stranger
to lover such
a mere chimera,
softened whisper
rumble of heartbeat
number 22 pulls up
mlmm photo challenge 148; whimsygizmo’s invitation for a d’verse whisper quadrille (I hope this is a quadrille, I think it’s a whisper)

There is something magical about rain and waiting for a bus……and when you throw ‘chimera’ into the mix, well then…..it’s even more magical ;-)

I just heard yesterday about a couple who met at a bus stop – and then another on a train. There is something romantic about meeting in the rain. Perhaps, if you can appreciate each other in those conditions, then you are sure to love each other when it’s sunny and dry.

There is something romantic — the sharing of an umbrella, a Kleenex or the “meant-to-be” feeling of catching the same train/bus.

Really beautiful Lorraine, there’s this sense of hope and companionship in this poem, a strong connection made even for someone who is parts of many creatures. I loved the title to it really struck me “wet whisper” as part of her I think is water. Great conversation going on above as well, very entertaining, got to love Red-Green :)

Where would be without Red Green!
Thanks for the compliment — I hadn’t written in that form before, and the photo challenge picture, and the Hollies song inspired me.

I have found the only difference in avoiding trouble and taking it head on is when you hit it head on at least you have a clue of what occurred here. 😉

Harpo’s designer outfits probably included duck/duct tape. My previous home was 20 miles from where Duck brand tape has annual event with a fashion show of items made with duct tape

Did a quick history check — ya, Harpo could have duck/duct taped himself.
Red Green, a Canadian comedian, used to do segments of what you go accomplish with duct tape — hilarious on his show.
