Students learn best through games.
Today is guessing my literary leanings.
Ooohhh, mouths mimicking the sound.
Poe. “The Raven?”
Kipling. If?
Carroll. Alice?
Irving. “Legend of Sleepy Hollow?”
Mantel. Wolf’s Hall?
Naifeh and Smith. Van Gogh: the Life?
Lee. To Kill a Mockingbird? . . . (275)
Penned for Kat’s Twittering Tales 140.
And, you, behind that screen, your guess?

If this was a class quiz, there were no failures. I want my classes to be this creative.

now this was fascinating and highly creative – I might not have straight off got the “lost one’s head” although Sleepy Hollow certainly brought me right to that conclusion, but it was the “darkness” the gothic elements, that linked them for me –
I love it! Superb!

Thanks.
Funny, but I was so busy looking for lost heads that I missed the gothic nature of my literary leanings. How very Wednesday Addams (as in Charles’ cartoons — another childhood staple in our house) of me. She is much creepier on the page . . .

roflmao – @Wednesday Addams – brilliant character!
(I just did my story for this week, I think you’ll like it ;) – went all twisty)

I’m not sure how you categorize your list…but I am a fan of each tome and poem…to which I would add Bronte’s Heathcliff and Catherine…;)

The general theme was losing your head, literally or figuritively.
I would allow that both lost their heart and their heads on the moors.
Ran out of characters to give a hint 🙃

Interesting…I see it now. I was not far off…by my take was a bit more ethereal.
