Long time since I twittered with Kat. This is twittering tale #121. Another writing exercise: a free-will, free-flow, free-write outta my head. So, I present my cinnamon-twist.
star-dusted cookies
mixed with
shapes of love
sugar and spice
all things nice
are not what my
kitchen is made of
oh, that sweet pinch of arsenic
special treats wrapped up in old lace
be my guest, have a little taste?

Thanks. Having to limit the amount of time I sit in front of my computer (until I get it set up to accommodate my pain issues), when I don’t get notifications, I am very late responding to comments, and can’t explore other folks stuff as much as I would like. I will take a late look at your post.
It’s interesting how minds work, isn’t it!

Yes, they are. It is a good exercise in conciseness! Perhaps I should try and keep my out-loud thoughts to 280 characters!

Yep, I’m sure it could fit into a tea shop, bakery, café, catering or other cozy mystery.
I think everything possible has been cozyfied and made into a Hallmark channel movie. Even some ideas I had but never got around to making into a book manuscript.
My cozy-side showing!

cozy is good too – and hey, we have to give voice to all the sides :)

And cozy sells! The new Harlequin writing outlet for women. Oops that sounds denigrating, and that’s not what I mean. Don’t want to get (mis)judged again.

I totally understand … and it’s not denigrating, it’s a “truthful” market …. and I SO understand about the (mis)judgment — damn it, it’s gotten so absurd that you can’t open your mouth anymore before someone is jumping down your throat for some reason or other, — and this is the age of “awakening and enlightenment” …. for all the babble and rabble, we’re increasingly divisive and intolerant. holy crap – the “down the drain” idea is a nice place to float ;)

Haha! Great take on the prompt! I certainly thought, when I looked at the photo that perhaps things weren’t all sugar and spice and everything nice!!! 😄

Thanks, Kat. My mind is always on the devious side, I think. Great image to play with!
