alien glow

can you not feel it

     the alien glow

               electric eel feelers

man o’war jellyfish sting

          the piercing

                          tattoo needle of

                                                   light and breathe

and oh my god

             the arching back

sucking in air

                        I wrap my legs

around you and

you watch me in

wonder as I burn

                                                   brighter than lightening

into the night

               melting, melding

                          the molten metal

                                     of our bodies

                                                into alien shapes

                                                          in that alien after glow
