    • This is the replacement in the US for Columbus Day. Some native groups call it Genocide Day. This is the first year Biden made it “offical.” Other countries have their own indigenious peoples recognition day: (June 21st in Canada). Canada recently added a Truth and Reconcilition Day in memory of the children in the residential school system. Most folks in the US probably still consider this as Columbus Day.
