Gillian watched the cloud inch across the sky, thousand pairs of legs flailing in unison. To her, it was a rainbow trilliped upside down, pressing its feet against the nothingness of air.

“What do you see?” she asked her companion, as they lay stretched out among wildflowers.

“A cloud,” was the brief answer.

No imagination, thought Gillian. Definitely not a keeper.
