Welcome to The Three Things Challenge.
Below are three things that may, or may not, be related. The challenge is to simply read the prompt and see where your creativity takes you.
You can use one, two or all three words in your post, there are no restrictions regarding length, style, or genre apart from keeping it family friendly.
You can use the 3TC, #threethingschallenge or TTC as a tag and the logo if you wish.
I’ve bolded the three words from today (December 31, 2020)
She had nothing to gain from the new year’s polar bear dip expect the opportunity to purge her body of 2020 toxins.
Polar bear dips are when people, for whatever reason – including raising money for charity/non-profits – submerge themselves in freezing wintery water (lakes, rivers, oceans) often on New Year’s Eve or New Year’s Day. Not sure if dips into the Pacific or Caribbean count, lol.
- title of a 1949 song which has been recorded multiple times and is associated with the holiday season.

Yep, I think craziness is a prerequisite to join a polar bear club! The only polar bear club I’d join is one where the dip is running into warm pacific waves!

I feel cold just looking at this Lorraine!! Thanks for joining in. I’m wondering if the annual New Year’s Day dip in the sea will take place here tomorrow. It’s usually quite well attended (both in and out of the water) so a lot of money is raised for the RNLI.
Happy New Year to you and your family.
