darker mood or not (as you’ve mentioned in the comments) – this is still really well done – totally atmospheric and moody and very pointed …. and I like the title – how you’ve written it backwards …. the “garbled” sense is so apropos for what seems like this wild and crazy year …. and how I think so many of us are feeling ….

Yes, I agree. Though the aging backwards comes from Merlin in the Sword in the Stone (Disney animated version). In that case, it was comical. Guess my mood is a bit darker. Wonder why? (hint, starts with C and T)
