Who knew
unleashing Armageddon
wasn’t a button-push
but a scrawled slash
of ink on the
document of death. (104)

Short, to the point, and to the end. All due to the indecipherable scrawl of a source that comes to mind, an ardent follower of Ronald McDonald.

Seemed some how appropriate in this age of signed executive orders = democracy, and nuclear threats feeling chilly like the cold war.
Would someone sign the papers to end the world, rather than push a button, or say a code word. I hope it would give at least a moments pause . . .

Thanks, Willow.
Times feel chilly like the cold war. I remember being drilled about what to do if the Russians/Chinese came calling with mushroomed-clouded death.
Must be strange to those born post cold war to be in a nuclear brinkmanship era.
Sorry, my mind is rather dark these days. I live with a news ban to save my sanity.

I am very much like that too. I remember my brother’s and sisters being in the civil defence, and going on Ban the Bomb marches..
Where did it get us ?
