I know from past years, that my forays into month-long “contests” often end in disarray, disappointment and frustration. So, this year – incursions and excursions. Nothing official – no pressure to perform.

melt in your mouth
your tongue is
ice; your words
freeze against
my flesh

That’s a good idea — some folks doing the A to Z actually have all their posts written before the challenge starts!
I considered but then realized it only adds to the angst and the word lose issues. I thought of the poem with butter which is todays letter. I didn’t link to either challenge — this is just me when the inspiration hits to write something.
You did so well with your last challenge; tough going but you finished– are you going to take on another one?

Do what you can, no commitment needed. Be gentle with yourself.
When I do a challenge I try to write posts ahead of time, makes it easier to catch up. But if you can’t write a post, there’s no worry. People forgive easily.
