I read the earth
like a book
no library card

sense the music
in shake of jack pine
branches
bolted on
‘gainst wind
as if it could break
not just bend them

what an opening …. I read the earth like a book … and then it just keeps going and gets so deeply in to it …. beautiful :)

One of those — looked at the list of words and the opening sentence emerged.
Been thinking of jack pine trees lately, so it kinda flowed from there.
Thanks.
