Crushed by the ordinary, she needed to flee, so she arranged the cards – each with an image: a touchstone; a tao; a hope.
She shuffled, holding her breath, exhaled, then chose two to be her mantras.
First, a photograph of a narrow country road, a golden glow of sunrise welcoming her through the bower of the trees. The second, a photograph of a home-made flag emblazoned with “explore” causally tossed on a wooden table top. Her path was chosen.

Great micro story – the golden glow photo is so mesmerizing, isn’t it? something about the colour I think – captivates the spirit and makes one yearn … and hope …. energizing – great story where you’ve offered that spark of light :)

Sue’s photos often have that effect — she takes powerful images. So powerful, I often find it hard to put words to them.
Again, I tried to write with hope — hard to get my fingers to type those words I will admit.
