Linda suggests we go a la carte for this week’s SoCS, December 24, 2016. Hence:
from the series of board books by Tad Hills
Here’s a goose I hope isn’t cooked,
aspiced, braised, coddled, deep-fried, escalloped, fricasseed, grilled, heated, immersed, jerked, knifed, larded, melded, napped, oaked, pulled, quick-frozen, roasted, steeped, toasted, unthawed, viscerated, warmed-up, xeroxed, yellowed, zapped.
Like tomorrow at my brother and sister in law’s.
Wishing all a brilliant, bright soc kind of new year.

And I hope that your outing brings no cooking other than the food – with warmest wishes and spilly but happy messes all around!
Love the cover – looks like it’s so colourful and happy. :)

Courage and white wine will be my middle names. I don’t usually drink cuz of meds, but this event may make it necessary, lol

I can understand about the mix – so go easy and if need be, make it a spritzer to ensure you still sparkle – just remember, your light …. your true light? no one can dull the sparkle 💕
